Great Britain’s historic windmill sites

Wester Hatton Windpump is the remains of an early windpump near Wester Hatton in Aberdeenshire. The structure was also adapted at one time to power a threshing mill at Easter Hatton.

Savoch Tower Pumping Mill is a former windmill stump at Savoch, near Strathbeg and Lonmay in Aberdeenshire. It was a tower-type pumping mill of late eighteenth-century date.

Windmill Plantation, Old Windmill is the remains of a late eighteenth-century circular-plan windmill near Leswalt in Dumfries and Galloway. The site is listed by Historic Environment Scotland.
