Site overview

Kineton Windmill, also known as Pittern Hill Mill, stands north-west of Kineton near Windmill Farm. It is an eighteenth-century tower mill. All the machinery has gone, but the building has been restored.

The site preserves the tower remains rather than a complete working mill.

History

Kineton Windmill stands about 1 kilometre north-west of Kineton, near Windmill Farm. It is also known as Pittern Hill Mill. The mill is an eighteenth-century tower mill and forms part of Warwickshire's surviving windmill landscape.

The machinery has gone, but the building has been restored. The detailed construction date, ownership history, working machinery, and final working date have not been established here.
