History

Patrington Haven Mill was built in 1810 as a wind-powered tower corn mill. It stood at Patrington Haven and formed part of the wider Patrington milling landscape, which included more than one tower mill.

The mill later ceased working and survived after the loss of its working equipment. Historic images show the tower in derelict condition with cap and remaining sail elements during the twentieth century. The former mill later survived as a capless tower. Details of the full machinery arrangement and final working date have not been established.
