Site overview
Rollsford Mill is a former tower corn mill at Moccas in Herefordshire. Specialist mill records identify the site as a wind-powered corn mill and give Blakemere Mill as an alternative name. The mill is recorded at National Grid Reference SO 361 419 and appears in Herefordshire windmill lists as a surviving tower mill.
Later photographic and archive records describe the structure as converted, indicating that its wind-powered working life had ended before its modern recorded survival. The cap, sails, and working machinery are no longer evidenced as a complete operational installation, but the converted tower preserves the former windmill's presence within the Moccas landscape.

History
Rollsford Mill is the recorded tower windmill at Moccas. It is identified in specialist mill records as a wind-powered corn mill in the historic county of Herefordshire, with Blakemere Mill recorded as an alternative name. The site is listed at National Grid Reference SO 361 419 and is included in national windmill lists under Moccas.
The recorded first mention for Rollsford Mill is 1832. Its working role was corn milling, using wind power in a tower-mill structure. Later records concentrate on its survival and conversion rather than on a detailed working chronology. Photographic archive material describes the mill as converted, and modern mill gazetteer entries retain it as a surviving tower-mill site.
The converted structure no longer represents a complete working windmill with cap, sails, and full internal machinery. Its significance lies in the survival of the tower and in the preservation of a named Herefordshire windmill site. The alternative name Blakemere Mill also links the site to the wider local landscape around Moccas and Blakemere.
