High Mill, also known as Rachael, was one of the post mills at Sweffling. It stood at about TM 351 640 and was in existence by 1783. The mill remained part of the local wind-milling group into the early twentieth century and was demolished in 1911 or 1912.
The precise details of its machinery and later site survival remain uncertain.

History
High Mill, also known as Rachael, stood at Sweffling as one of a small group of post mills in the parish. The mill was in existence by 1783 and occupied a site around TM 351 640. It functioned as a wind-powered post mill, but detailed information about its machinery has not been established.
The mill survived into the early twentieth century before demolition in 1911 or 1912. Its later survival history is unclear, and no complete mill structure survives.
