Dumbarrow - Windmill Tower is a tall former windmill tower at Dumbarrow, near Kirkden. The structure is about 60 feet high and 18 feet in diameter. It is built of rubble, has a graduated form and a cantilever platform, but the windmill workings have been removed.

History

Dumbarrow - Windmill Tower is a former windmill tower at Dumbarrow in the parish of Kirkden, Angus. The tower is a prominent landmark, about 60 feet high and about 18 feet in diameter. It is built of rubble and has a graduated profile with a cantilever platform.

The windmill workings have been removed. The structure may date from the early nineteenth century and was shown as a windmill site on nineteenth-century mapping. The tower was listed on 11 June 1971.
