History

Caverton Mill was a former tower windmill at Caverton in the parish of Eckford in the Scottish Borders. The mill probably dates from the late eighteenth century and was recorded on nineteenth-century mapping. The surviving remains stand near Caverton and represent a former rural tower windmill rather than a watermill site on the Kale Water.
