Site overview
Ocklynge Mill was a tower mill at Eastbourne. It was a wind-powered corn mill associated with Radmell Beverington, or Rodmill, Farm. By 1930 the mill had long been abandoned, although the tower was still standing.
The mill was still standing in 1934, but no working tower mill survives at the site.

History
Ocklynge Mill stood at Eastbourne as a tower mill. It worked as a corn mill and was associated with Radmell Beverington, also known as Rodmill, Farm. By April and September 1930 the mill had long been abandoned, but the tower still stood.
It was still standing in 1934. The later demolition date has not been established here, and no working tower mill survives at the site.
