White Mill was built at Felpham in 1801.

White Mill was a large smock mill at Felpham. It was built in 1801 and stood on a substantial battered two-storey base with a stage and sharply tapering smock tower. The mill had a West Sussex domed cap and horizontal weatherboarding.
It was taken down in 1879, and the site was later obscured by building at the seafront.

History
White Mill stood at Felpham as a large smock mill. It was built in 1801 and became one of the largest smock mills in Sussex. The mill stood on a substantial battered two-storey base with a stage, above which the smock tower tapered sharply.
It had a West Sussex domed cap and horizontal weatherboarding. White Mill was taken down in 1879. The seafront site was later obscured by later building, although its foundations were still sometimes visible at low tide in the 1930s.
