Common Mill stood at East Grinstead on Windmill Lane. It was established by 1767 and was still standing in 1900. The windmill was photographed in 1874 and again before 1882.
The later demolition date has not been established here, and no working windmill survives at the site.

History
Common Mill stood on Windmill Lane at East Grinstead. The site lay at the top of Cutton's Hill and formed part of a series of East Grinstead windmills that gave Windmill Lane its name. Common Mill was established by 1767 and was photographed in 1874.
It was also represented before 1882 and was still standing in 1900. The later demolition date has not been established here. No working windmill survives at the site.
