A modern house was built on the surviving roundhouse.

Harebeating Mill, also known as Upper Mill, was a post mill at Hailsham. It was standing by 1823 and later collapsed in 1934. A modern house was built on the roundhouse, leaving the site heavily altered but still legible as a former windmill site.

History
Harebeating Mill stood at Hailsham and was also known as Upper Mill. It was a post mill and was present by 1823. The mill remained a recognised Hailsham windmill site into the twentieth century but collapsed in 1934.
The roundhouse survived and a modern house was later built on it. The site is now heavily converted, but the surviving roundhouse fabric preserves the position of the former post mill.
