An earlier tower corn mill stood on the Southam site by about 1800.
Site overview
Southam Old Mill was a tower corn mill at Southam. A tower mill stood on the site around 1800 and burnt down in 1849. A replacement tower mill was then built in 1849.
It survived into the mid twentieth century but was truncated by 1955. A low circular wall remained until redevelopment between 2010 and 2015.

History
Southam Old Mill was a tower corn mill on the Southam site. The earlier tower mill dated from about 1800 and burnt down in 1849. A replacement tower mill was built in the same year.
The later mill survived into the twentieth century and was still present in 1948, but it had been truncated by 1955. By the early twenty-first century only a low circular wall remained. That remnant disappeared when the site was redeveloped between 2010 and 2015.
