Bramham Windmill is a former tower corn mill on Windmill Road, Bramham. The tower is probably eighteenth century in date and was later altered. It is a surviving derelict tower mill and is listed at Grade II.

The mill became disused, but the tower remained standing as a prominent former milling structure. Details of the machinery and final working date remain uncertain.

History

Bramham Windmill was built as a tower corn mill, probably in the eighteenth century. It stood on Windmill Road and formed part of the rural milling landscape around Bramham. The mill and farm were associated with the Headley Estate before passing to the Bramham Park Estate around 1900.

The mill later ceased working and became derelict. The tower survives, with later alteration to the former working structure. It was listed at Grade II on 3 December 1986. The surviving building remains a disused former tower corn mill at Bramham, although its original cap, sails, windshaft, millstones and final working date have not been established.
