Site overview
Westfield Mill, later listed as Tower House, is a former tower windmill on Landing Lane, Riccall. It was a corn mill and was converted to restaurant use by the early twenty-first century. The Grade II listed building is a nineteenth-century brick windmill with later twentieth-century additions and alterations.
Its original openings have segmental arches and later windows. The former mill tower survives as part of the adapted building.

History
Westfield Mill was a tower windmill at Riccall and worked as a corn mill. The building is now listed under the name Tower House on Landing Lane. It is a nineteenth-century windmill of pinkish-brown brick with a concealed roof.
The entrance is now through a twentieth-century extension, and later windows occupy the original openings beneath segmental arches. The mill tower was later converted for restaurant use and survives as an adapted listed building. It was listed at Grade II on 23 August 1978.
Further operational dates and machinery details have not been established.
