Wentcliff Mill was a wind-powered corn tower mill at Knottingley. It is marked on the first edition Ordnance Survey map and is described as a likely nineteenth-century mill of four floors without a basement. A possible earlier mill site has also been noted.
The present entry concerns the former mill site, rather than a surviving tower.

History
Wentcliff Mill was a wind-powered corn tower mill at Knottingley. The mill is marked on the first edition Ordnance Survey map and is likely to have been a nineteenth-century structure. It consisted of four floors and had no basement.
A possible earlier mill site is associated with the location, but the earlier sequence has not been established. The mill's ownership history, machinery arrangement, final working date, and demolition sequence remain uncertain. The site is now treated as the former location of Wentcliff Mill.
