Site overview
Eyre's Mill, listed as the Windmill at the Mill Public House, is a former wind-powered corn tower mill on Holderness Road in Hull. It was built around 1820 and was undergoing restoration at the time of listing. The five-stage battered round tower is brick-built, later rendered, and roofless.
Some internal floors survive, but no machinery is present. It is Grade II listed.

History
Eyre's Mill stands on Holderness Road in Hull and is listed as the Windmill at the Mill Public House. It was built around 1820 as a windmill and later became associated with the Mill Public House. The surviving structure is a battered round brick tower of five stages, later rendered and fitted with late twentieth-century glazing-bar casements.
It has large boarded ground-floor doors on the north-west side, with smaller segment-headed boarded doors above, and aligned windows rising through the tower. The opposite side has a blank ground floor with single windows to the upper floors. By the time of listing in 1971 the tower was undergoing restoration.
The interior retained some floors but no machinery. The building remains a Grade II listed former windmill tower.
