Site overview
North Howden tower mill was a drainage tower mill associated with Howden Brickyard at Brickyard Farm. It stood at North Howden and served drainage rather than corn milling. The structure survived into the late twentieth and early twenty-first century, with later images showing the tower at Brickyard Farm.
Its construction date, working chronology, and final working date have not been established.

History
North Howden tower mill was associated with Howden Brickyard at Brickyard Farm. It functioned as a drainage tower mill rather than as a corn mill. The construction date and machinery arrangement have not been established, and the final working date is not known.
The tower survived after its working life and remained identifiable at Brickyard Farm in the late twentieth and early twenty-first century. The site is distinct from Hail Mill on Howden Dyke Road and from the Kilpin Brickworks windpump.
