Burnham Mill, also known historically as Wilkinson's Mill and formerly as Brock's Mill, stands on Epworth Road at Low Burnham. It was built in 1811 as a tower windmill. The surviving tower is tarred red brick, tapered, and four storeys high, with segmental-arched openings and a stepped and cogged brick cornice. The roof is a low twentieth-century rebuild set on the original rotating cap frame and topped by a reset original ball finial.

The mill worked by wind until the 1920s. In 1928 the sails were lost and the mill was converted from wind to engine power. Most of the machinery was removed during that conversion, although the original main beams and floors survived. The mill then continued to run first with an oil engine and later with a diesel engine. It was still in use as a mill during a 1985 site visit. A lag governor from the mill was moved to Bardwell in Suffolk to retain use in a wind-powered mill.

Burnham Mill was listed at Grade II, protecting the surviving tower. In 2001 Norwell Millwrights carried out a survey before conversion to a dwelling, recording the building's condition and its use as an animal-feed mill. The surviving structure preserves both the early nineteenth-century tower and the later engine-powered phase of a rural mill that adapted after the end of wind working.
