Mill Lane Mill at Witnesham was a post mill at TM 183 504. It was built around 1815 and worked as a wind-powered corn mill. The mill burnt down around 1908, ending its working life.

No surviving complete mill structure has been confirmed.

History

Mill Lane Mill stood at Witnesham at TM 183 504. It was a post mill, with a timber mill body carried on a central post. The mill was built around 1815 and formed one of the known windmill sites in the parish, alongside Wood Farm Mill.

Its later working details have not been established. The mill burnt down around 1908. No complete post-mill structure survives, and the later history of its machinery and site remains unclear.
