Rottingdean had a post mill site north of the village as well as the later Beacon Mill on Beacon Hill. The post mill has not survived as a standing structure. Its construction date, working history, closure date, and machinery details have not been established for this specific site.

History
Rottingdean had more than one windmill site. One post mill site lay north of the village, distinct from the surviving Beacon Mill. The post mill structure no longer stands, and no surviving roundhouse, trestle, sails, or machinery has been confirmed at the site.
