East Hill Mill at Portslade was a post mill. It was recorded in 1837 and stood on East Hill above the former village. The mill has not survived as a standing structure, and no complete post mill, roundhouse, trestle, sails, or machinery remains at the site.

History
East Hill Mill stood at Portslade as a post mill. It was recorded in 1837 and appears in nineteenth-century views of the Portslade windmilling landscape. The mill rested on a base or roundhouse, which survived after the loss of the mill body and was later converted to domestic use.
The standing post mill has gone, and no complete mill body, sails, windshaft, or working machinery survives at the site.
